Porcupine puffer and corals?

I know that porcupine puffers are not considered "reef safe" and in talking with the local fish store saltwater folks, they explained that puffers like to munch on the hard corals.
I'm wondering if they also mess with soft corals - colts, mushrooms, zooanthids, etc. or do they get along fine with these times of corals?

yeah a porky will go after the rock under the soft corals to shew its teeth down. IMO they are not a species that would go well in any reef tank setup.
Welcome to the board and feel free to look around and ask as many questions as you like.
