Pork Puffers and toxin

I was told that a sick Pork Puffer will produce toxins which will
kill corals and fish. Is this true?

I have never heard that. Porkies in general are probably not edible, but they are not one to release 'Toxins' into a tank. I have heard that cowfish will , but even that is not really been proved by the experiences of people on this board.

Porc puffers are edible. It's a delicacy overseas, but you have to be carefull as their internal organs do contain toxins that can be fatal if not prepared right.
They do not release this toxin into the water when they die. I would say someone got them confused with a boxfish.
