I have a 4" porky that ate a dwarf lion i had. Spines and all. How am I going to introduce these two fish without any more death?

That is Some Puffer. How big was the lion. Generally puffers and Lions dont do well together because of the Puffers being fin Nippers. Maybe a Dwarf Fuzzy lion. They generally Dont Have the Big showy fins But there could still be problems. It comes down to whether u Want to take the risk or Just get something else. There are a lot of scorpionfish out there.

Yer puffer ate an entire dwarf lion between the first time u viewed them together and the next time that u saw the lion missing? Were u gone for a week or sumthing, or is the puffer amazingly big? Also, how big is yer tank, wat do u feed yer puffer, and how large is the puffer. If the puffer is like 10" long, thats understandable

No man, he did this in one night. all that was left was the main body of the Lion.
The puffer is only 4" long and a little Sh*t. I have a 55 and will upgrade with my tax return. I plan on spending 6K on just the tank so he'll have all the space to play in but I want to be able to put other crap in there to without having more and more stuff being eaten.

your puffer is overly aggressive. Mine is 4 inches with a 7 inch volitan and doesn't go near him or try to nip.. its been 7 months about. If he ate a dwarf lion, he will do it again... either get rid of him and get another one or buy much bigger rish.. no more lions though

From my experience, porkies are one of the most docile fishes I've ever known.....mine didn't show the slighest interest in my clownfish...certainly it wouldn't try to eat lionfish....I think yours is especially aggressive kind. manybe you'll have a better luck next time.

I have had my striped puffer with my volitan for almost a year now without any problems. The puffer is definitely the king of the tank, but he does not bother the lion. He gets close to him every once in a while, but the 'king' still knows who the real boss is.
It sounds like you have a nasty porcupine. When you get a larger tank (120+), get a nice size volitan that he will not be able to eat if you do decide to try another lion. That seems like your best bet for a lion.
