That coral looks like Frogspawn, not Toadstool. Can't really tell what the hitch hiker is. I would guess Majano which is just as bad as Aptaisa.
If you have a syringe(no needle) you could inject some boiling water into it's mouth or get some aptiasa-x or Joe's Juice.
The problem with Aptaisa and Majano is they spread like wildfire!

Haha, yes frogspawn. I always mix the two up... frogs and toads lol. I have noticed that the hitchhiker has moved a bit from its original spot. is that normal aiptasia behavior? And are there any things that look kinda like aiptasia so i can compare? Its hard to get a good picture but i can see it ok. Thank again to all!

I don't have any pics for you, but I am sure if you google apatasia and majano, you will get several pics to compare.

Heres a much better picture. See how it doesnt have a foot or even a mouth that ive been able to see. Maybe its just too small... Any other thought before I go out and try the peppermint shrimp thing?

if its not in a deep crevice you could tanke the coral out and scrape it off with a needle or razor blade.

Interesting......let's try this.
Cranberry, cranberry, Cranberry!
If that doesn't work, send her a PM, she is the hitchhiker guru.

It's a pest anemone for sure, it reminds me of a Swimming Anemone.... I need to go find the spelling of that one.
There's also Spank and Bang who enjoy the Hitchhiker puzzles.

Boloceroides mcmurrichi... but there could be other species that look the same so I'll just say Boloceroides sp.
Most of the pics I'm coming up with while searching is not what I encountered.... but take a look at THIS pic.

Also called Curly-Q anemones, if I'm not mistaken. My LFS tries to sell uber big ones and I've seen them for sale on some reef sites as well. Kind of a neat find instead of your average aptasia, but I agree, get it out of there.
You can google that, I'm sure you'll find some more pics. =)

Yeah, it does have those rings around the tentacles. You think a peppermint will still do the trick? Also, I have a purple lobster, do you think the lobster will eat the shrimp?

Ok, good info, thanks. Last question... I was looking real close and it seems to have real small purple tips on the green tentacles. Is it in any way possible that this is a very small frag of more frogspawn? Would it be able to move like that? Cause thats what it came on, a frogspawn frag.

Yeah I knew that was a reach haha. Ill get a peppermint for the one that jumped to the other rock and maybe Ill just pull the frogspawn out and scrap that one off. The frag is pretty small
