possible to dim marinland double bright?

I am pretty good with soldering I was wondering if I would be able to dim my whites and blues separately on my marinland double bright fixture.

Not without some serious modification. In which case youd have been better off building your own fixture to begin with.

Can I just splice into the power line that goes to the leds and solder in one of those volume type knobs from radio shack that?

No. The power supplies used to supply voltage and current to the led.'s have to be purposely built for dimming in order for it to work. It can't be done on the positive and negative feed line for the led's themselves. It requires a whole separate channel in the power supply itself in order to make it happen. You could try it, but I wouldn't.
