Wow - what an incredible turn-around time on a response. LOL To think I've been waiting for several days (or more) elsewhere. Guess location is everything.
I wish I knew what kind of snails I have in there. When I started up this beginner tank about 11 weeks ago I went to an LFS and told him I was shopping for a CUC. He gave me a "variety pack" of about 7 different types of snails and 5 hermit crabs. And then (sssshhhhhhhh..... have to whisper here because I'm going to get flamed for this!) I grabbed a handful of small snails the last time I was at the beach so I have a bunch of those in there, too. God only knows which of the little buggers are going forth and multiplying but now that I have a small puffer in the tank they may all be history - eggs AND snails!
