Im new here, but have been a member on another forum for 5 years and spend countless time there.
Some initial things I noticed when I came here.
- Signature.. Why arent they allowed here? It would be very cool to see each persons aquarium in the sig. Regulate the image size and the content. Ban anyone who abuses the rules.
- Character count when PMing. Im limited to 1k and this doesnt seem to be enough to have a detailed message sent. Does character count increase when you have a higher post count?
- Linking other sites.Why not share any specials or good deals out there with one another? I understand this is a business and SWF would prefer not to have any competition posted here. Why not allow supporting vendors section. Other sites would pay SWF to advertise any specials they may have. I think this forum has a lot of knowledgeable people here, but to limit information among enthusiasts does not seem right.
- Who is a mod? I think ive seen a few, but is there a section that shows the user names of the active mods?
- Better FAQ to teach users how to search.
Just my .02 everyone. Maybe the following things have been discussed but these are the things I feel this place lacks.
