im converting from a fowler to a nano reef..and i want some good ideas from all of you peoples with 30 gallons and what you did to make it look good..im just really interested in seeing what kind of corals i can put in, what lighting to use..im planning on 150-175 watts...unless u can give me sum betetr suggestions..pics and advice are greatly appreciated!! thanks in advance!

I am upgrading to 30 myself, so I'm interested in seeing some suggestions...I know I will be getting the sunpod metal halides. I hear they are supposed to be really good. I plan on having brains bright, neon zoos, frogspawn, clams. Just get what looks cool and have fun……..good luck with yours...by the way I think johncat has a 30 gallon, and it looks really nice, so take look at it.

thats cool..but i thought u said in another thread that u had to leave the hobby?? and i think for my lighting ill just go with pc..im only 15...(cant afford MH)..but it shall serve its purpose well! and thanks for the reccomendations..i think ill take alook at johncats tank! have a nice day yo!

oh...um maybe its my bad but i couldve sworn u said u were headig off to college and had to leave the hobby..and if u said sumthing similar..i may have just misread..but i was actually just looking at one of your threads..."new 12 gallon pics" i love what youve done!!! i need to make sum money..and invite u over to set my tank up! lol..looks like ur alot better at that kinda stuff than me!

im 15 turn 16 on new years and i have a 30 gallon.. for lights i have
50/50 65 watt bulbs so a total of 130 watts of light.. i can keep shrooms, ric,leather, and a few others.. i only have strpied mushrooms

i just turned 15, on the 19th of this month! =) and the only reason im gunna have any money for converting my tank is, im selling my pet snake...and i got sum money for my B-day!

ya..i found that other girl today while i was searching through threads..sorry for the mixup!..to bad i live 2 states away lol..i was in cali a while back..that was b4 i started up my current tank...its pretty cool there i guess...ALOT of pretty ladies..my only complaint was the tv at my hotel..it was almost all mexican channels...

lol..which hotel in california did you stay at? Right near the mexican border? The only channels thats mexican out here are the channels nobody watches unless your mexican. (only 3 or 4 channels out of the basic 70 cable channels are mexican) lol

dood..boas and pythons are way different.....and most pythons get way bigger than boas....go buy yourself a few books and read up...
