posting pics again question

ok I went back to the archives and looked found the post that delt with posting pics but here is the deal even putting in a link it still comes up a (cant find the specified page) but I can manually type in the same thing and get the picture to come up even copy and pasting the url doesnt seem to work..
so am I doing something wrong or is there some higher power out that there that doesnt want me to show pics LOL
any help is apreciated

yeah that makes sense and what I was doing you came in on the end of it as I was trying a few other things.. apparently its against geocities policy for a link outside there communtiy to your page because its in violation of the terms of use. LOL
how stupid is that but hey..
where is a place that will allow you to store pictures on the server to used link to off there server???
