Potential Problem

Good evening! We are new to keeping seahorses and have a few questions. We have two wild caught Brazilian seahorses, the originally were red and orange but have changed color to make their favorite perch, the return piping, so now they're mostly black. We have a few red fake corals on order for them :) One of our ponies seems to be "fat" she is definitely fuller than the other pony. I noticed this evening that she seems to have a little green around her gills, a little on her back and a bit on her snout. She also seems to be breathing faster than the other. We have a bit of a problem with cyano and green hair algae in their aquarium, they're in a 34 gallon nano cube. Can anyone please help with what we should do? She is acting normally and eating REALLY well, has a great appetite. But we're concerned about the respiration and green around her gills. We need some help figuring out what to do for her :) THANKS!!

She does have the tiny white spots I read about, and the other pony has them too, but not as many. They only have a blenny, a mandarin, shrimp and snails as tank mates, the temp is usually about 78 and all our parameters are normal. Please help me figure out how to treat them!!

The green is prob just algea and wont hurt them. Are you running an open air line in your tank. it helps with with oxygen exchange in your tank. Your temp is a little high, should be below 74 degrees. can you post pictures, your one may be prego.
What are you feeding them?? and have you wormed them yet. do a search in this forum for instructions.

Thanks for getting back to me! We do not currently have an open line, but we do have an extra air pump, so I'll do that this evening :) I'm going to post pics as soon as I get a camera that is able to focus on them (we lost the charger to our good camera). I've also been looking online for a chiller that's affordable to get the temp down as well. We left the fan on all night and now the temp is 72... We live in the Dallas area and it's been HOT for months now, makes it difficult to keep the temps down! We have not wormed them yet, I'll definitely look through the forum to get instructions on how to do so. I'll be back this evening with pictures. THANK YOU!!!
