Potter's Angels???

Visited my LFS today and saw four new Potter's Angels. They are amazing looking! Very healthy and showed no signs of stress. I am thinking about getting one instead of the Flame Angel. Anyone have any info on these???

Potter Angelfish is somewhat interesting to have however depending on your " how well " established tank is, fish mates, and reef system? dead coral system? Potter is known to be difficult to keep in tank with dead coral oraments. Unless you have a reef system, big tank, very well established tank, and WATER QUALITY. You should have no problem keeping that one. But.........For how long?
Hope this helps and good luck.
That was 20 years ago since I had that one and It lasted about a month... No luck.... :( I will not be intimidate to give it another try with my well established reef system.

There should be plenty of LR for him. The LFS said that was what they needed most. I'm not really worried about his tankmates. My sebae clown would be the only thing to harass him, they will be about the same size if i get him. I'm just worried about it dying right away. I didnt realize they were so delicate. The four they have look pretty strong and they've been there for only two days. They are sooo much better looking than the flame and the coral beauty but if its not going to be as hardy then there's no reason to get one. The LFS swears they are just as hardy, and i havent been deceived by them yet.

Has anyone had experience keeping a potter alive for over 6months? I havn't. I gave up on them years ago. Perhaps they are hardier nmow. They are quite nice looking.

Man, so far it looks as though there's more nah's than yeah's. Its in quarantine till next saturday, guess i've gotten some serious thinking to do. I know i'd give it plenty of care, chances are better than the next person. But if they arent that hardy whats the point???
