I have a 125 gallon and it has a couple clowns, coral beauty, and a scopas tang. I want to add a powder blue very badly, but i do not have time or money for a quarantine tank, do i need to worry or is there any way to minimize the chance for ich? Thanks for the help.

i would not get it if u do not have a qt, tangs r ich magnets let alone the species that ur choosing is a notoriously hard one to keep

Powder blues are supposed to be pretty hard to keep in the home aquarium-very fragile. Powder browns are just as nice and a little more hardy in home tanks. And they do seem to have a pretty bluish grey color at times! At least mine does.........

I just got a pb and a yellow eye yesterday. I dont have a qt. Never have. I guess Ive just been lucky. But I think my lfs is the reason, top of the line everything, and very educated. My problem with a qt is the fish is stressed out from transport and may bring on a disease, wont the same stress occure when moving to display after qt?
