I am nuts over this fish! Does it really get only 7 inches. I'm going to have mostly a peaceful community, only a flame angel in the semi-aggressives. Will this be o.k as my biggest fish introduced last?

It's a very nice fish. It's also compatible with other less agreesive tangs.
Just be aware it does get ick pretty easily.

Are there some things that cause them to get ick more easily, extra precautions you should do?

I have a tank with a powder blue and it is great! It's my favorite fish and has never gotten ich. I got it from my LFS and he did a great job with him...when I came home he was very happy in my tank and he's been great ever since.
