just got powder blue from the best people saltwaterfish.com was a gift from my wife he is stressing with the white stripes going threw him how long before i should be concerned

I would start right away or you will lose him. These fish are so hard to move around. Wish you the best

IMO I would put in some Melafix for the fin rot. Do this for 7 days and do a 25% water change.
Also feed the tank Garlic and Vitachem

no but i do have a 20 gall qt tank if needed
but he was acclimated for 6 hours he is flying around tank but i noticed yestered i want him better thank you guys

yes you should always QT any new fish for 6 weeks.... This way you dont have to stress them out again and you can treat them(away from the main tank) if a problem (such as fin rot) arises.

It is his lust fish.
Anytime you get fish, you need to QT them, especially fish like a power blue that will always have something wrong with him when you get them. That way you know you are adding a healthy fish to your display.

I very much agree. My advise here would be to get the qt running as soon as you can. Can you describe what his anal fin looks like? Could you possibly post a picture of it?

sorry computer idiot here but the fin its missing a good section of it like its eaten away i all ready moved him to a 20 gallon and use melaifx day two already thats the people said to do thanks guys
