ok. in my tank i have 2 # 1 korolias and 1 #2
the problem is that my tank doesnt have likee natural flow. everything is just being blown. what products are out there to make my tank look more "ocean" like?

wavemakers turn the pumps off and on making it more "oceanlike" you will need to purchase the hydor wavemaker specifically for the koralias if you plan to keep them.

You can also point 2 of the powerheads against each other from opposite ends and that creates turbulence. I have 2 Tunze 6100's in the 150 and they are blowing at each other at around 2000Gph each (60% power) and the randomness of the turb is pretty neat.

for the koralia wavermaker u need the controllable versions of koralia's powerhead..so if u just have the regular koralias..u can use a corallife aqualight timer and do something like 15 min. intervals. but the regular koralia's make noises when first starting so it might not be the best option..i point my powerheads at the glass towards the top of the water..and my corals and stuff wave around like if i had a wavemaker.not to mention the cool shimmering effect also from the MH's

a regular wavemaker is going to wear out those koralias very fast also. i know this from experience. what you need is a wavemaker that powers the pumps up and down sort of like a dimmer switch, rather than turning them off and on abruptly.
i used a blue line tsunami wavemaker on a few koralias and i wore out 2 of them in about 3 months.

totally agree, sometimes the pumps won't even start..but that is the cheapest way to go..if u have the money a wavemaker system is ur best bet..
