Anyone here ever run a Power-Glo tube in their tank? Does it give any kind of a blue hue at all?
I only have room for one tube, my tank is a FOWLR but there are a few mushrooms from my past setup that are in this tank and spreading like crazy with a regular cool flourescent that I have in there right now.
My LFS said that the Power-Glo would be the best for tank color and the fish but then they also mentioned the Marine-Glo too.
I would appreciate any advise you could give me as to which light would be a better light for my tank?

Hi, well I went with the Power-Glo 18,000K and what a huge difference from the cool white I had. It was so yellow and this has a nice soft blue cast and looks just great. For a single hood canopy I would hightly suggest this type of light providing you don't have alot of corals that need special lighting.
The color of the fish, mushrooms and rock are so nice looking now. I think the fish appreciate it too.
