take them apart or I soak then in water with a little bit of bleach. The bleach will kill any algae on them. Rinse them off good. Bleach will turns into saltwater.

Bleach?! i dont know about that. I heard of viniger (spelling?) Bleach is a nasty chemical, if you dont get it all of your pumps that could do alota damage. Plus im sure the bleach is horible on the plastic parts. It eats through cotton!

just like I said water with a little bit of bleach. I use to use it with my freshwater tanks and I have been doing it for a 6-7 months now with saltwater. Rinse it good and you are good to go.
Bleach will turn into saltwater it is not bad.

A small of bleach, diluted in saltwater, is not a bad thing. Just make sure when you pull the pump out of the bleach water, you let it throughly air dry.
I take mine apart and clean them in hot, running water, with a toothbrush.

Get a large tupperware and fill it with one part vinegar, one part water. Take your powerheads and submerge them, then place a lid over the tupperware. Plug the powerheads and let them run for about an hour or two.
Usually everything will rub right off with a sponge after that.
