as posted the power head shorted out killed everything in my tank even the snails. It has been 2 weeks now and it looks like it must have killed the liverock to. The tank has 2 grounding probes but it did not a GFI it has one now. has anyone heard of it killing LR? it all turned white. If it is dead I'm going to clean it and start over, I can pull LR out of my big tank to help seed it. Just looking for advise thank you

Sorry for your losses.
Restart the tank. Take the rock and sand out. Wash the sand or replace it. Scrub the rocks or soak it in RO water for a little while. Then put everything back in and add a few small pieces of live rock from your big tank to reseed it. Gotta cycle your tank again too.
I hoPe all goes well.
By the way, what brand and model powerhead?

Hey...very sorry for your loss. I had a heater break and kill most of my coral once...no fish deaths. I did have GFCI outlets, it does make a difference.

With the rocks turning white that was a major shocker
