power head vs air stone

In my new 55 gal I have a large air stone plus 2 hob filter and a skimmer.
Do I still need a power head?
Also Im thinking about changing to 1 hob filter and a fluval cannister for more power. Does any of this negate the ned for a power head??

This is a 55 gal fish only. The tank is 2 weeks old and, so far doing well, except for my red alge problem and my jumpiong 2 quick 2 put fish in it

I would get a power head. You will have area an in your tank that does not get good water movement. This will lead to algae problems in the future.
