Power Head ?

I have had my 20gl reef now for a about a year and a half and its doing pretty good. Now I'm thinking of getting a Power Head for it. How strong of one should I get?

You need a total of about 400-500 gallons per hour flowing through your tank. Just subtract what you have flowing through it already and buy a powerhead the size of the remainder.

I just go to walmart and get whatever powerhead I need for my size tank.

Hint if your shrimp play superman w/ you powerhead its to strong. if they point and laugh its too weak.

i like the maxijet 1200 they work really good

I use the maxi 1200 in my 72...Agree....works really well
