Power Head?

I've got my 90 gallon set up with Marineland c-530 canister filter. Which is rated for up to 150 gallon. My question is about the power head that I have in it right now. It's a koralia 7.. Is that to much for my tank. I was just wondering if I should get a smaller one. I just wonder if I have to much circulation in the tank with the filter and power head combination... It also keeps blowing the sand out of one corner of the tank. Still learning and trying to figure out all there is to know.. Thanks....

I would get two koralia 3s or 4s and put them at ether end of the tank pointing at each other and mabey a smaller one to blow behind the rock work so no detritus build up back there!

Thats my .02 cents. I am sure someone with a little more experience will chime in soon

In my 90g I have two (Koralia brand) #3s and one #4 and a #2 low and hidden in the rocks to give flow to my cave. So instead of one big power head , small ones distributed works best.
Do a test…take a stick and attach a thin piece of ribbon to the end, move it around in the tank to see exactly where your water current is and how weak or strong , it will also help you to find any dead spots.
