Power heads

I have a question. What brand head should I get. I saw the wave ones sorry i forget the name of it but it changes dirction. Should i go for that one or one that doesnt move around. Sorry that im not very "proficiant" in power heads but my LFS said i should get one before i start up my corals b/c i dont have enough flow. Its a 10g tank. Should i get 2 small powerheads or one bigger one (160gph)

I have a maxi jet 900 in my 12 gallon. I've heard of the hydor flo and I think that switches water direction, but I don't know much about them.
