Power Heads?????

I have a 80 gal. tall about 26 inches deep and 13" wide. Right now i have a maxi-jet upgrae 1600gph mostly pointed up near the water surface then i have a korlia #2 on the other end about half way down form the water surface and then i have a auqa-clear 250gph about 4 inches above the sand on the same side as the maxijet is this enough flow or should i add another PH. What size? and how would you decide if it is effecting your corals?

your looking for at least 10x turnover rate for the tank so take all the powerhead outputs and add them up. you said the tank is 80 so your wanting to hit atleast 800 GPH flow rate through the pumps more for SPS tanks.
as far as telling wether or not its effecting the corals youll have different flow rate corals youll have to move and adjust where they are for best results. IE you wouldnt want a LPS coral sitting right in front of a powerhead it may damage the polyps. but SPS corals love *for the most part* a more intense flow and can handle being in front of the power heads.
