what size power head is sufficient for a 55 reef?

Buy two powerheads Hagen 402's and place them on each end of the tank!

I have a similar question. I just bought a Maxi-jet 1200 for my 55 and I think it is a little much. No matter where I angle it it seems to always bother my anemone. What could I do to make it work? I thought of using plastic tubing which I would drill holes in and run it behind the rockwork. Would this work?
