power liquid level controller / top off

I am interested in makeing a auto top off , I read in a magazine there is this liquid level controller , it works as the tube fills up with water it create a vaccum and shuts off the power head .
it works with a 12 volt transformer , its like a float switch but seems to work better. its made by spectra the ro people.

i did a search on float switches and found a rather economical one for 35.00 bucks, hooked everything up and it works great.
no more dumping buckets in twice a day.

I have used few disigns of float switches in my tanks and found the most reliable and sensitive to a change in water level, simple mechanical float switch. Here's what i did:

The system is gravity driven. The float switch is a part of WC flush container;)
