power outage for three hours.....

I had a power outage for about three hours today. Temp went down to 79 (normally 81-82, had ran a little warmer (83) the past two days because I just upgraded lighting.), water tests 0 for everything. The temp is increasing slowly. Is there a chance that something could still go wrong? Just fed the fish and everyone ate. I was so freaked out, thought everyone was going to die! Really makes me think about going out and buying a gas generator....

from my limited experience, I would say that you don't have anything to worry about. A 4 degree change wouldn't really be that big of a deal, unless you have something incredibly sensitive in there. It also wasn't for that long of an amount of time.

I think you'll be fine, my tank lost power for 8 hours this winter and the temperature plummeted to 65 before the power came back on (skimmer failure) the only things I lost were a couple polyps of clove and all three of my stars and an Acanastrea.
