Powerhead bothering fish??

I have a 90 gallon tank with live rock, live sand, and a few fish. I run a fluval 405 and was having some green algae problems. Based on conversations on this chatboard, I added a powerhead to increase the circulation in the tank. After a weekend of use, i can see a noticable difference in the water, particularily the disapperance of the film that used to reside at the top surface of the water. It seems that the new equipment is bothering the fish as they seem to be hiding since i installled it. is it just a question of them getting used to it?

I have a 90 gal with 2 Fluval 405 (one at each end). No problem. they are quite and effective. I just have 5 Chromis for now. they are super happy.

i added a powerhead (295 gph) to increase the water cirulcation in the tank since the fluval 405 was not providing enough circulation and the water was basically just standing still.
since i added it, it seems like my fish are having a tough time adjusting to it, but they are eating better than ever and the water seems much clearer simply after 4 days use of the powerhead.

i have a 100 gal tank with two power heads and my fish are not bothered a bit. the adequate circulation is good for the tank but shouldn't hurt the fish as long as they are not strugling to swim.

I just lost two chromis to my powerhead. It's an aquaclear 70 in a rectangle 55 gal tank. I have the filter at one end and the powerhead at the other end. I've had it about a year with no problems. Today, I lost two chromis and found them sucked up in the bottom part. I don't know why, as they were fine when I fed them and a couple hrs later...gone
. Should I put a covering over this part of the powerhead...and what should I use...
