powerhead making bubbles

my powerheads stirs the water up to make an tidal wave and then sucks the water through causing alot of airbubbles and such. Is this a bad thing for the tank or is it ok.
I have a 125 gallon cornerflow tank

Move it down.
And it will stop,

how far down should I move them. I have them all the way at the top on both sides right now pointing at each other
Depends on how powerful the motors on them are, but probably 2-3", until it can't suck a funnel up to the surface and grab air.

i run my p/h's 3/4in from the top and 3/4in from the bottom.
