powerhead needed for 55 gallon

the rio 800 circulating powerhead has given up the ghost!..
anyone out there have a used powerhead they are just itching to get rid of?!!... I'm in Toronto, Canada...
(i have a friend in Florida (zip 34465) who will bring it up to me when she comes here.. if anybody down there can help..)

Nope don't want to get rid of mine but would suggest a couple of Maxi jet 1200's or 3 Maxi Jet 900's ( the 900's use less amps and save electricity)

I agree Maxi-jets are great, I wish I heard about them when I first bought my hardware.

i'm about to throw my powersweep out the door and replace it with the maxi jet 900 i have sitting around.....
btw the powersweep came with the setup i bought

There are great deals on Maxi-jets on e-Bay. Half the price of my LFS.

they weren't free, but..
i picked up two 'new-in the box!' maxi-jet 1200's for $21.50 each, including shipping..
