powerhead or wavemaker?

i got a 72 gal. tank and need some help picking out a item to help me move the water for a reef any suggestions?

Well I just went through turnover for my 110gal. I guess the best possible setup would be a closed loop with a wave unit.
I myself did not go with that option because I did not want to wait or did not have the motivation to build the closed loop system. Which really is'nt difficult at all. But I went ahead and purchased 2-1100 gph SEIO powerheads. which is giving me 29x turnover with my sump return.
Anyways, maybe I will switch to closed loop later down the line when I upgrade to 300+ gallon HEE HEE

Above is a link of what a closed loop system is. Basically you have one heavy duty pump that pvc is connected to with various heads. the pump and pvc is located on the outside of the display tank. If you go to the the web site and look up closed loop systems on this web site you will get more thorough information.
