I have a 55 FOWLR tank. Wheres the best place my 2 MJ900 power heads so it get flow high and low, with out making a sand storm.

need a pic, hard to just tell you without knowing the positions of your rock, overflows and such.

when i had a 50 gallon setup i had 2 x mj1200's. I placed one on each side wall of the tank towards the back and aimed the nozzels towards the front middle section so the flow it would bounce off the front and go through out the tank. Just experiment with different placements and see what works for you.
