Powerhead Question

I just picked up a few Maki-Jet 600's. Whats the difference between setting them up with and without the air injector tube?

Don't use the air tube unless you want to put a lot of bubbles in your tank and cause massive amounts of salt creep. Air tubes usually used on freshwater setup to help oxygenate the water, and for more pull on the undergravel filter systems.
Air tubes are used if you are hooking them up to a skimmer as well. But just for flow in tank do not use them.
