Powerhead question

I recently set up a 28 gallon reef tank and the only flow that I have in the tank is from the skimmer. I'm going to get a powerhead soon and I was wondering if one Rio 400 UL would be powerful enough. It's rated at 144 GPH...does anyone think that I need more flow than that? Thanks!

I would go with 2 maxi-jet 400's. This will give you plenty of flow and maxi-jets are alot better than rio.

Just remember that RIO's ARE THE WORST pumps ever made, they break before they even leave the assembly line. That's how horrible it is!!!!!!

my first ph was a Penguin. I didnt like it. Now all I have are Maxijets. You cant go wrong with these.

personally i use profile, i love 'em but i have used maxi jets and they were great

i like the zoomeds , because of the rotating head it gives u more circulation and better motion
