Powerhead questions

Alright so I have a 120 gallon tank. Would it be better to get 1 koralia pump that has 1000 + GPH or go with 2 smaller ones that still equal around 1000+. Or should i get more than just 1000 GPH out of powerheads?

much more than 1000 gph. i would honestly save up for vortechs. if not, get tunzes over koralias

how much more than 1000 GPH do i need for a 120? As it stands right now there will be 600 GPH thought sump/fuge and whatever i get for powerheads.

depends on the coral, but id at least have 2000 gph or maybe better 3000. ive got 1800gph running through my 30 gallon

all i have for coral right now are mushrooms and zoas and also a LTA. not sure if i will ever do SPS or anything

Yeah, I think I have close to 4500 GPH in mine and I have a 150G. I have two Koralia 1400's and two Koralia 1's. I split them up so two units are on each side of the tank so there is a good flow at all times (1 1400 and 1 K1 on each side). I would recommend something similar.

For corals I only have hammer coral, GSP, and Sun Coral.
