powerhead queston

I have a aqua clear 50 powerhead and every 15 to 30 seconds it spits out a bunch of tiny bubbles. I have the powerhead sitting about 4 inches from the top of the tank.It is a 72g bow with a wet dry filter.I cant figure out why it is doing this.

man I got the same problem, let me guess u took out the airhoses too right? Idk what to do nemore I think maybe every so often u need to open it up and clean it out. Theres gotta be something inside thats drawing air somhow. Ill let u know if I find nething out.

I took the hose out also.Ithink it could be bubble algae getting sucked into it.It drives me crazy
