Powerhead Suggestions

Don't know that anything is inexpensive in this hobby, but I use a maxijet 600 in a five gallon bucket. If your mixing smaller quantities, obviously you could use something smaller.

Guess I should rephraise that...I don't use Powerheads in my tank, as such I know very little about them...I assume you would use a slightly nicer one inside of a tank to avoid fish getting stuck in them

Inexpensive is a relative term in this hobby.
look for a maxi-jet power head to mix water with. Thats all i have ever used in mixing.
