Powerhead

Hello, I have a 30 gallon plexiglass tank, with about 10 pounds of live rock, arogonite bottom. I only plan on adding another 5-10 pounds of rack at the very most. I will be adding an anename or 2 and was wondering what powerhead would be a good choice. I have the filter with the living filter/biochamber. But I don't think the water is moved enough. I saw a powerhead that clamped on and swiveled back and forth automatically. Would this be a good choice? Say I put it in the center of the tank and allowed it to blow back and forth across the tank?

you may have put a prefilter on it; anemones may move around & get caught in it; think you are talking about the popwer sweeps; seems that for the most part, at some point they stop moving;that sometimes just cleaning them ehlps to restore the self swiveling feature, but not always

Powerhead are recommended for sure - what type is up to each person.
I don't care for the ZooMed sweeping ones but other folks seem to like them.
In a 30 gallon tank - 1 or 2 would be a very good idea - especially if you have doubts of your filter adding enough circulation.
Good advise on anemone protection jakob4001.
Later - Have fun ;)
