powerheads and liverock

I have live rock but no powerheads . I am wondering if I absolutely have to have them for the rock? I haven't had them for the last 6 months although I just added lr last week.

yeah it would be a good idea to set one up, it will be healthier that way

powerheads are necessary to bring fresh oxygen and trace elements to all living things within your tank. Once your live rock is added the water flow will become blocked by the rock. It is very important to add powerheads or change the location or flow direction of your powerheads to keep dead spots from forming.

pick up 2 cheap ones at walmart $20 each, place 1 at each end towards the back facing in.
