powerheads for circulation, how many?

i have a 37 gallon elcipse system. i also have a powerhead that is rated at 230gph pointed towards the surface. am i getting good enough circulation? my eclipse hood gives me pretty good surface agitation anyways so should i just move and point the powerhead to the middle or bottom of the tank? or do i need another one?

I would leave the power head pointed toward the top. The more surface movement the better. Good LUck

1 power head may be enough. Look real close at your tank and you can probably see the current flowing. This way you can determine if you will need to add another power head or adjust the 1 you have.
