Powerheads with wave device

What kind of powerheads are good to use with a wave device (timer)? Rio pumps have a disclaimer to not use them with wave devices and I have tried Penguins (No luck).

Why don't you call the manufacture of your wave devise, or visit their webpage, to see what they recommend.
I am sure they will have an answer for you.

IMHO, maxijets are the best. I did alot of research before I made the choice for my wavemaker. Maxijets are marketed to be used with wavemakers, and they haven't let me down. They have a nice "soft-start", and don't make that awful "rattling" sound on start-up. Virtually noise free, and tough enough to take the constant on/off of the wavemakers.

The wavemaker I was looking at the other day suggested maxijets as well.
The are better that most of the others anyway.
I used to like my powersweeps, but now I think they suck.....I have to clean them every week now to keep them sweeping.

Hermit, did you ever get the dimmer? And, if so, how do you like it?
