my 75 gal is starting its 20th day of cycling. ammonia is still hi with no signs of nitrites. my ? is would 2 hagen powerheads be enough? 270 gph. forward and 125 gph reverse. or what about the aquaclear hi-spec ph? 150-260 gph? i already have an emperor 400. thanks

hagens have, em, but which ever you purchase, make sure it has grate over the impeller and suction cup hangers, some do not have them, or have a very poor design, that will not hold the powerhead in place
as i said hagens are not aprob here, and i too have 5, but i would not use less than 3

they do take up some room, but you can hide ti behind the rock, and you are looking at just the powerhead, right? and not the filter attatchment(you do not need this)
maxi jets are another good option, which are a little smaller, but i don't think a sugnificant amount

says just the power head. i do believe no filter (but does say aeration device with air filter) the maxi jets do look smaller.
