Powerheads

It's really trial and error. I would start with two decent size ones and watch your water flow and look for dead areas. Are you using an overflow box? I return pump is an extra power head. I have a 120 and use 3 power heads and have the flow from the return pump. I don't get much movement behind my rocks so i am thinking of adding one more (a small one).

i'd go with 4. I'd put two on each side wall of the tank, in each bottom corner facing the other side of the tank... do you get what i'm saying? that should be enough to keep things from settling on your sand.

the general rule of thumb is that you want to have 15x's turnover in your tank. so basicall 90gal (your tank size) x 15 = 1,350. That's how much gph you want to have in your tank. the more the better, though. You just add up all of the flow of your equipment. I'm not sure what your emporers push...

emperors are 400ghp each, and you powerhead is like 300gph, and i dont really know about the prizm, maybe 150-200gph. So 400+400+300+150=1250gph giving you 13.8 turnover rate. I say you go for 4 maxijet 1200s they are really nice and do about 300gph so try that out.
