I am getting ready to buy some powerheads for my 60 gallon tank. I recently tore it completely down to start over and i am wondering if two koralia 2's would be ok or do i need koralia 3's and if so where should i place them in my tank. Also i would like to pick up somee used ones if possible. DOES ANYBODY HAVE ANY FOR SALE???

You're better off with the K3s. Not much of a price difference between the 2's and 3's.

ok and two of them would be good enough movement...? how would i position them in my 58 gallon tank???
I have two K2s, a K3 and a K4 in my tank. Positioning them will depend on your aquascape. You want a good flow and no dead spots. It will take you many times to slightly alter them until you get the position that works best for you. I would start with one on each side of the tank. One about six inches off the sand bed aimed straight across for a bottom current. The one on the other side should be slightly higher and aimed up some. This allows it to pick up the current moving across the bottom and aim it up to create a higher current flowing across the top. It should create some aggitation on the surface of your water. This design creates a flow through your tank not two currents bashing into each other. Good luck !
