Powerheads

Hi there.
My powerheads are getting old and weak. Need to replace. What is the best for my 75 gallon tank.
Tank has:
2 Maroon gold strip clowns
Yellow Tang
6 line wrasse
Engineered goby
coral banded shrimp
Bubble anemone
Blubble Coral
Hammer Coral
Mushroom Polyp
Lettuce Nudibranch
Lights we have Sundial 48" t-5 (2-10k daylight and 2-460nm actinic 54w T5HO bulbs)

get koralia pumps! those things rock! I have the 1200gph model in my tank and I'm about to buy a second.

I agree Koralia pumps are the best. I have 2 Koralia #2 and 3 Koralia #1 in my 75 gallon softy tank. I've ended up with that combo due to upgrading my 55 with a 75 system I bought off CL.
If I had it to do over again I think, I would run Koralia #3 and #4. You will think you have enough, and then the next month you'll begin to think you need more.

Will your budget accomodate the Tunze line?
Pretty snazzy, they are spendy but so nice.

I was using sure flow mods for maxi jets, it didn't take too long before they failed. Now I am running 4 koralia 4s with the props from the maxi jet mods. Can't hear them run and wow 2500 gph

You said "what's the best" ---- for the best I would go with Tunze -- love mine and got a good deal on it as new/used.

I used 2 Koralia 3's in my 75. Got great flow from them.
