Have a LFS that will pre-mix R/O with salt mix. Add buffers and calcium supplements if required adjust salinity and sell it for $1.00 / gallon. Is this a better option than purchasing my own R/O filter and mixing it myself? Average use will be about 50 gallons a month.
i say do it your self, they say they add in calcium and stuff, but what if they dont and what about if they do add in some stuff but its VERY poor quality(so they make a good profit) save your tank from a posible problem do it your self
Do it yourself, most mixes contain everything you need so your lfs saying he is adding all that extra is most likely just mixing salt and water. An r/o unit is a great thing to have if you dont have one buy one.
