Pregnant?

One of my Peppermint Shrimp keeps getting bigger (under her tail) and now that she has molted I've noticed what looks like eggs. Is she pregnant? If so, should I quarantine her? Thanks in advance!

You should see a patch of green, yellow, or orange patch of eggs under the shrimps tail. FME, it's extremely difficult to sucessfully raise the younge. It's best to let nature take its coarse...consider it free food. My cleaner shrimp do this on a monthy basis, just saves me some fish food. I can't tell you how to raise the younge, but what I can say is that it's very difficult.

Thanks for the reply! The eggs (if that's what they are) are white - I figured they'd be fish food.....but it's still interesting!

Here is my cleaner with eggs. I have read that they turn from the green to a light color before they hatch. I am still waiting to see what happens, its been over a month now.
