You talkin the fish or the bug? You're also not talking about the scorpions incased in the acylic globe like a paperweight are you? Planning on doing a biology dissection project?

Why not get a live one? I've heard they make interesting pets.... a friend of mine had one for a long time and when it died he had it mounted in a shadow box, looked pretty cool. I doubt most of the ones you buy die of "natural" causes, this way you could be sure. The empereror scorpions are the most "fierce" looking ones but supposedly the best pets.

They glow under blacklight...

I have a desert scorpion. His body is dark blue and his legs and tail are neon green. In the wild these are very deadly. They can kill a human easily. The venom is removed before they are offered for sale. Mine is a mean little fella but I have had him for two years. Emperors are the best pet scorpion because they only attack when provoked. You can hold them. I just tried to take a pic but he is curved up and it didn't come out that great. The first pic is my scorpion, the next is a pic I got online of what they look like. I know it doesn't help you ric, just sharing

Ugh. Those things are gross. I'm generally a fan of just about anything creepy crawly, but scorpions are on my short list of really repulsive animals (roaches, centipedes, scorpions, taranchulas, earwigs).
They didn't use to be, but we have them here in GA and I stepped on one once. I couldn't walk for weeks.
