Pressure gauge for RO unit

I purchased the Pure-Flo II ro/di unit. It did not come with a pressure gauge so I bought one seperate. I just wanted to know if I put it on the fill line before the water enters the unit.
Also the directions for this unit are vague and I was wondering if it is necessary to empty the water out of it after every use.

You can put the pressure gauge inline before the unit it will tell you your water pressure to the unit....Most have the pressure gauge mounted in the pressure vessel itself....Wouldn't be hard to modify the pressure vessel housing by drilling and tapping the hole to the correct thread pitch of the gauge or you can purchase a new pressure vessel housing pretty cheap which will already come with the port to install the gauge on the housing.....
