Preventative formalin bath.

I am receiving some wc clowns tomorrow and would like to perform formalin baths as a preventative measure. Should I use the same dosage/#of baths in this situation as I would for the actual treatment for a case of brook?
Also, would you recommend a freshwater dip preventative, or should I hold off on that until actual symptoms appear because of the high stress level of this treatment?

What exactly are you trying to prevent? Formalin is not a good treatment for ich. If you are concerned about brooklynella, the treatment is 3x every other day. It is outlined in the FAQ.
Formalin is a potent medication [chemical] and should not rely be used unless it is necessary to do so.
