I have a prism and I want to ahve a surface skimmer has ne1 done this and if so how

Yes, you can attempt to buy a "surface skimmer" made by Aquaclear and attach it to the Prizm. You will have to use a o-ring or gasket to attach the Prizm intake to the overflow. It will take a little bit of adjustment. I finally got fed up and bought a Aquaclear mini on the surface skimmer and put the Prizm on the other side. Works well and gave me something I can put carbon in when I need to.

Another thing you can do is buy one of those small plastic tanks from Lees (I think they call them quaratine tanks, not sure). The larger one may be big enough that you won't have to cut the Prizm's intake. These can be cut with a utility knife. You basically use 90 degree PVC elbows that you can rotate to control the flow into the overflow box. If you need any help with either one of these ideas let me know.
